Porcelain

Extremely common and has the ability to mimic natural stone, with the bonus of stain resistance and versatility, allowing it to be used in almost any application.

ceramic

Arguably the most common, even surpassing porcelain because it’s durable, inexpensive and comes both glazed and unglazed options. It can be used in conjunction with a more expensive tile to balance cost efficacy.

Glass

Stain resistant and adds quite a beautiful, elegant touch, as a full wall or backsplash or as an accent surrounded by another type of tile.
